Your Authentic Look
Meet the Founder

The woman turning heritage into confidence.

Elizabeth Chibale built Kakoara Clothing from a stubborn, beautiful belief: that African fashion can carry memory, royalty, discipline, and modern luxury in one unforgettable piece.

" Fashion is identity before it is outfit. "

She learned fashion at arm's length, then made it her own language.

Born in Winneba to parents from Paga, Elizabeth's first classroom was not a fashion school. It was the steady rhythm of her elder sister Lydia Chibale's sewing room, where fabric became patience, measurement became discipline, and every finished garment carried somebody's hope.

Money was not always available. The road was not always clear. But Elizabeth kept returning to the work. She apprenticed, listened, tried again, and slowly refined the eye that now defines Kakoara: royal without being distant, cultural without being costume, modern without losing the hand of the maker.

The Kakoara Standard

Clients come for the print. They return for the care.

Elizabeth built her name through close customer relationships, honest communication, clean finishing, and the kind of attention that makes a client feel seen before the first fitting is complete.

Kakoara is her answer to women and men who want clothing with presence: pieces that speak before the wearer says a word, then stay comfortable enough to live in.

Royalty

Shapes with ceremony, confidence, and occasion built in.

Culture

African heritage treated as living luxury, not decoration.

Individuality

Distinctive designs for clients who do not want to disappear.

Trust

Professional communication from first message to final delivery.

The Meaning of Kakoara

A name that means Royal.

Kakoara is Elizabeth Chibale's native name — a word passed down through her lineage that translates directly to "Royal". Every piece that carries this name is expected to meet that standard: regal in presence, intentional in detail, and worthy of the woman or man who wears it.

🧵

Handcrafted in Accra

Every Kakoara piece is made by hand in our Accra studio. From pattern cutting to finishing, each garment passes through skilled hands that understand fabric, drape, and the difference between made and crafted.

🎯

Precision in Every Seam

Elizabeth insists on clean finishing, matched prints at side seams, and structured lines that hold their shape. These are not mass-production shortcuts — every detail is inspected before it reaches the client.

♻️

Sustainable by Nature

Made-to-order production means minimal waste. We source premium natural cotton, use eco-friendly dyes where possible, and create pieces designed to last beyond seasons — because the most sustainable garment is the one you keep wearing.
